Easy Chocolate Mousse

This Easy Chocolate Mousse is so fluffy, rich, and flavorful! It’s one of my favorite desserts to make when I have a little extra whipping cream because it is quick, easy, and I typically have all of the other ingredients on hand.

Chocolate mousse is typically made with eggs to provide that fluffy, creamy aerated texture. This mousse, however, contains no egg. The light, fluffy texture comes from the whipped cream instead. Technically, this might be more of a chocolate whipped cream, but it still has the flavor and texture of a chocolate mousse. It’s just a bit simpler to make! I prefer a darker chocolate flavor, so this mousse is not too sweet. If you like a sweeter mousse, no problem – just add in an extra sprinkle of sugar!

If you need a quick chocolate fix, this is the recipe for you! This decadent chocolate mousse is creamy, rich, and delightfully chocolatey. As an added bonus, this recipe has only five ingredients, and takes less than ten minutes to make. It’s perfect for a quick evening treat, but is also fancy enough to serve as dessert at a dinner party. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
