1tsp (4 g)vanilla
1tsp (2 g)instant espresso powderoptional
½tsp (2 g)salt
¾cup (100 g)all purpose flour
¼cup (30 g)cocoa powder
½cup (80 g)chocolate chipsoptional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease or line an 8x8 inch baking dish.
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter and chopped dark chocolate together.
Once the butter and chocolate are completely melted, transfer them to a mixing bowl and stir in the granulated sugar.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly before whisking in the eggs and vanilla extract.
Mix in the espresso powder (if using) and salt.
Add the flour and cocoa powder and stir until combined. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips.
Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake the brownies at 350°F for about 30 minutes, or until a tester inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.
Let the brownies cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy!

If using a 9x9 inch baking pan, bake the brownies at 350°F for about 25 minutes, or until a tester inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.
