granulated sugar

brown sugar

all purpose flour

chopped peanuts

chopped soft caramels or chocolate covered caramels
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Add the egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Stir to combine.
Mix in the cocoa powder and flour.
Stir in the chopped peanuts and caramels. Stir to distribute evenly throughout the batter.
Scoop in 2 tbsp measures onto a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes, until cookies are crisp around the edges.
